Voucher Program
The Tulare County Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) has a program targeted at providing grief and bereavement services to individuals immediately impacted by suicide loss. This program will provide short-term, high intensity, early intervention services to decrease subsequent suicide risk by survivors of suicide loss. The SPTF will identify individuals eligible for vouchers, and will refer them to a participating clinician. Voucher recipients will be eligible for a maximum of six to eight, one-hour sessions, based upon their desire to participate, and upon the professional judgment of the treating clinician. Requests for additional sessions will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If you or someone you know has experienced a suicide loss and would like to receive a voucher for grief and bereavement services, please contact Noah Whitaker at (559) 624-7471 or by email.
We need eligible clinicians in Tulare & Kings Counties to participate in our voucher program. If you are a clinician with a valid license to practice in the state of California and are interested in accepting our vouchers, please review the two forms below. The Information Form describes the program and the reimbursement process in greater detail. The Clinician Interest Form is used to apply to participate in accepting our vouchers.
